Jeffrey Howard Archer, April 15, 1940 in London and raised in Somerset, England. His parents were William, a printer and Lola Archer, a journalist. He received his training in Wellington and Brasenose College, Oxford. He has won the President of the University Athletic Club. He met his future wife, Mary Doreen Weeden, Oxford, where he studied chemistry. They married in 1966 and remained married. They have two sons, William and James.
Jeffrey wonPlace the Greater London Council. In 1969, aged 29, became a member of Parliament for Louth. Came out of the House of Commons in 1974 after having been on the verge of bankruptcy after a few bad investments. He turned his attention to writing and his first novels were bestsellers. Even today, says he wants more than the policy in writing.
From 1985 to 1986 Jeffrey Archer was Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party. In 1986 he sued a publication for falsely accusingPaying for sex with a prostitute. He won the case and received an astonishing 500,000 pounds of damage.
Jeffrey was the mayor of London, but in 1999, withdrew his candidacy. It 'been charged with five points, including perjury and conspiracy to pervert justice. It seems a friend finally admitted he lied on the witness stand Jeffrey. Jeffrey Archer was sentenced to four years in prison. Jeffrey spent two years of his term in prison. His time inPrison brought three pounds Nonfiction known as Prison Diaries.
There seems to be mixed feelings about Jeffrey Archer. He is regarded as a controversial figure, a picaresque, humor, charm, a liar, a CAD, charismatic, witty, and a man devoid of self-introspection. One thing we know for sure that is a brilliant writer of novels and short stories and a playwright known.
