The mysterious link between the Black Dahlia and Fauna Hodel

As far as I'd like to say that I have solved the mystery of the murder of Elizabeth Short, aka The Black Dahlia, I can not. But the man has done, is a former Los Angeles homicide detective. This is the story behind this mystery, which is connected directly to the alleged murderess.

I found this endlessly fascinating story, about 20 years ago by accident. This article is too small to explain the details. But here are some highlights.

The young mother is a descendant ofMillard Fillmore, on the one hand and the doctor of Tsar Nicholas of Russia, on the other.
She was forced to move to Mexico, known away from his son and father incest dress rehearsal for the public.
birth certificate says his father was "Negro" (remember this is 1951).
He called his son insisted fauna after a poem by Robinson Jeffers' and the fact that the names have never changed because of a large inheritance.
Before trial, incest, pregnant by her father, who wantedto keep the baby.

Well, this may seem like a lot of strange circumstances, a mother and her baby seems to be. Because many children are in mixed families, but the most important elements of this story really to do with the relationship between the child and his mother again - the woman who are you today. This black woman raised in any case as the ' last person who relies on a newborn baby - at least on the surface. But at the time of the "give away" hypothesisthere was no concern for the welfare of the child. It was more of having a child of mixed race to get rid of as quickly and as quietly as possible. Here are some interesting notes on the black mother.

The first thing they did was change the name of the child of Patricia Ann Greenway.
He worked as a toilet attendant in a separate Nevada casinos.
Your common law marriage was a shoeshine man full-time and part-time Pentecostal preacher.
Not only could not imagine a child who has neverchildren who wished, in particular an adopted one.
He was an alcoholic with little fear of a person or institution.

This is only a small part of their character and not the best part, but once again, history is not available to them. The true story revolves around the child grows up trying to figure out how they became estranged from their biological family, and most importantly, why.

The motivation for exploring the complexity of not belonging to the natural resource base, whiletry to meet their arbitrary rules. This story embodies the survival and endurance. Daunting psychological and emotional events often produce permanent damage in individual cases.

It is a story of passion and prejudice, hate, sex, violence and love. often contradictory elements that the purchase of our childhood and maintained throughout life, often with the resolution. It's never too late to take the lessons of life are in the company.

This is a story of hope andthe color of love.
